Targeting and audiences
Targeting by interests and behaviour, and remarketing to people who have already visited your site or watched your video.
Before It Was Cool plans and runs Facebook and Instagram ads for businesses across Slovakia that want to reach people who are not searching for them yet. We design the ads, set up tracking that respects cookie consent, and the ad account and budget stay yours.
30 minutes, online, no obligation.
Facebook and Instagram ads (Meta Ads) are paid ads you buy for both networks in one system from Meta. They reach people by interests and behaviour, even when they are not looking for you, in feeds, Stories and Reels.
They are one of the channels in our paid media. Everyday posts and community replies sit under social media management. If people already search Google for you, Google Ads management does more.
We set campaigns up based on whether you want sales, leads or brand awareness.
Targeting by interests and behaviour, and remarketing to people who have already visited your site or watched your video.
Ads for feed posts, Stories and Reels. Lead forms that let people leave their details without leaving the app.
Visuals and ad copy sized for each format, in several variants, so we can test what works. AI helps with variants. A person chooses and checks what goes live.
The Meta pixel, Google Analytics 4, Google Consent Mode linked to your cookie banner, and UTM parameters, so you can see which ad brought a conversion. Some visitors will say no, so some numbers will be incomplete.
If we also handle your social media management, content and ads share one plan. A post that does well on its own can quickly become a campaign.
You pay the ad budget straight to the platforms. It isn’t part of our fee, and you decide how much it is. Meta Business Manager is in your company’s name, we get access, and the audiences and campaign history stay with you.
30 minutes, online. What you sell, to whom, and what you expect from the ads.
We review your Meta Business Manager, ad account and Meta pixel, or set them up in your company’s name.
The campaign goal, audiences, a recommended budget for a first test and the first ads for your approval.
We fine-tune campaigns as they run and review them every month: what you spent, what the ads brought in and what we will change.
You pay for two things: the ad budget, which goes straight to Meta, and our fee. What drives the fee:
You get the scope and price in writing after the intro call, with a recommended budget for a first test.
There is no fixed price list. You set the budget and an auction prices every impression. According to Meta, the auction weighs your bid, the estimated chance that a person responds and the quality of the ad, so a more relevant ad can beat a pricier one. We found no public average for Slovakia with a published method. The most accurate number is your own, from a first test.
Meta publishes no single minimum in euros; it varies by country and goal. The learning phase matters more: Meta says an ad set usually leaves it after about 50 results in a week. In practice, multiply the cost you expect per result by 50. If that weekly budget is out of reach, we optimise for an easier result. We send a recommended budget after the intro call.
Meta recommends at least seven days, without significant edits during the learning phase, because edits restart it. With standard settings the daily budget is a weekly average: Meta may spend more on some days, but no more than seven times the daily budget in a week. So we read results for the whole week, not by the hour.
Social media management is your everyday posts and community care. Ads are paid placements in front of people who don’t follow you, with a budget paid separately. You can have one without the other. If we do both, they share one plan.
There is no fixed rule. The cost per result varies between placements and Meta looks for the lowest average cost across all of them, so we usually compare both networks in one campaign. For conversion campaigns we judge the cost per result, not the cost per thousand impressions (CPM) or the click-through rate (CTR).
No. Results also depend on your offer, pricing, website and competitors, and Meta’s auction decides who sees the ad. We promise properly set-up tracking, regular optimisation and an honest monthly report.
Campaigns at Before It Was Cool are run directly by the agency’s founders, Maria and Samuel. You talk to them directly.

These keep the site working and remember the choice you make here. We keep that choice in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. Without it we would ask you again on every visit, so it needs no consent.
Google Analytics 4 shows us how many people visit, which pages they read and where they came from. Google processes the data and transfers it outside the EEA as well. Without your consent it never loads and sets no cookie.
