AI for business: an agent that finishes the job

Before It Was Cool is a marketing agency that sets up AI agents and AI automation for businesses across Slovakia. We design an AI agent that takes on a whole repeatable workflow, from the first step to the last. A person approves anything that reaches your customers.

Intro call: 30 minutes, online, no obligation.

AI automation for business: from one task to the whole workflow

A chat window helps with one task, but someone still gathers the inputs, checks the result and passes it on. So we start with your process instead. We design an AI agent that runs it from input to finished output, connect it to your tools and decide where it waits for you.

Chatbot, automation or AI agent?

Three different things are sold as "AI solutions for business". The difference is what each one may do on its own.

Chatbot, automation or AI agent?
What it may do on its own
Chatbot Answers questions. A person or another system takes the next step.
Automation Does exactly what you set: if A, then B. It stops at the first exception.
AI agent Gets a goal, not just a rule. It chooses the next step, uses the tools you allow and prepares the result. At the edge of its job, it hands over to a person.

Every agent gets a written brief

Before an agent starts work, we agree five points with you in writing: what it does, which data it may use, what it must never do, when it hands over to a person and how we measure its value. We enforce the limits through access settings, not just instructions.

  1. 01

    Job

    what it does

  2. 02

    Data

    which data it may use

  3. 03

    Must never

    what it must never do

  4. 04

    Hands over

when it hands over to a person

  5. 05

    Measured by

    how we measure its value

Illustrative examples, not client results.

Illustrative example

Example 1: From website enquiry to qualified lead

Job
Reads a website enquiry, adds public company details, sorts it against your criteria and drafts a reply.
Data
The enquiry, your service descriptions, public company records, CRM history.
Must never
Send a reply on its own. Promise a price, discount or date.
Hands over
Every reply, before it is sent. Straight away on a complaint or an unclear request.
Measured by
Time to first reply, share of drafts approved without edits.

Illustrative example

Example 2: From brief to published content

Job
Turns a brief into a draft post in your voice, adds a visual from your approved library and schedules it once approved.
Data
The brief, brand guidelines, approved past copy, image library, content calendar.
Must never
Publish anything unapproved. Invent figures, quotes or testimonials.
Hands over
Every draft, for approval. It stops and asks on a sensitive topic.
Measured by
Time from brief to publication, rounds of edits.

Illustrative example

Example 3: A monthly report without copy and paste

Job
Once a month, pulls figures from analytics and ad accounts, compares them with the previous month, flags unusual changes and writes a summary.
Data
Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, read-only. Your targets.
Must never
Change campaigns or budgets. Fill data gaps with guesses.
Hands over
Every report, before it is sent. Also when data is missing or sources disagree.
Measured by
Hours saved on preparation, corrections needed after review.

How we bring AI into your business

  1. 01

    Map the process.

Online, or in person by arrangement. Together we decide what the agent takes on and what stays with people.

  2. 02

    Pilot.

One process, a limited scope, under supervision.

  3. 03

    Measure.

We compare the results with the starting point, using metrics agreed in advance.

  4. 04

    Scale.

We add more processes only once the value is proven. If it is not, we tell you.

Rules that always apply

  • Nothing goes out unapproved.

A person approves emails, posts, quotes and reports sent in your name.

  • EU data where possible.

We flag any exception up front and agree personal data processing terms in writing.

  • People know when they are dealing with AI.

An agent that answers customers directly, for example in a chat, says it is AI, as the EU AI Act requires. It draws only on approved material and offers a route to a person.

What does an AI agent cost? What drives the price

Work starts from €500 and our hourly rate is €100. We quote once the process is mapped, because a workflow with the same name is different work in every business. The price depends mainly on:

  • the number of steps and decisions in the process
  • how many systems the agent connects to, and whether they have an API
  • volume: how many enquiries or reports a month
  • data requirements, such as personal data or EU processing
  • the size of the pilot and of ongoing running

Always included

  • A written five-point brief for the agent.
  • A pilot with metrics agreed in advance.
  • Documentation, including how to stop the agent.
  • Your accounts, access and data stay yours.

Never included

  • Fees for AI models and third-party software. We tell you what to expect before you commit.
  • A promise of specific savings or results.

AI for business: common questions

How much does an AI agent for a business cost?

It depends on the number of steps, the systems involved, the volume of work and your data requirements. Once the process is mapped, you get a written quote, including timelines.

Do you guarantee time or cost savings?

No. Nobody can tell in advance how much an agent will save. So we agree metrics before the pilot and measure the result. If the value is not there, we will advise against scaling.

Isn't ChatGPT or another off-the-shelf tool enough?

Sometimes it is. An agent makes sense for a process that repeats, has several steps and takes hours of work. We will tell you in the intro call which applies to you.

Where is our data, and who can access it?

The agent sees only the data the job needs, read-only where possible. We prefer processing in the EU. Access sits on your own accounts, so you can revoke it at any time.

Will an AI agent replace our staff?

That is not its job. It takes over repetitive steps such as gathering inputs and first drafts. People make the decisions.

Which businesses is an AI agent right for?

An AI agent from Before It Was Cool suits businesses in Slovakia with a process that repeats, has several steps and takes hours of work each week: handling website enquiries, preparing content for approval, or monthly reports from analytics and ad accounts. If a simple automation or an off-the-shelf tool is enough for you, we say so in the intro call.

How long does it take to introduce an AI agent?

Introducing an AI agent at Before It Was Cool has four steps: mapping the process, a pilot on one process with a limited scope, measurement against metrics agreed in advance, and scaling only once the value is proven. You get the timelines in writing after the process is mapped, because they depend on the number of steps and the systems the agent connects to.

What do you need from us to start?

To start, Before It Was Cool needs a description of the process in a few sentences and the person who does it today to walk us through it step by step. Then access to the systems the agent will work with, read-only where possible and on your own accounts, and a person on your side who approves what the agent prepares. We agree personal data processing terms in writing.

Which tools and AI models does the agent run on?

We connect the agent to the tools you already use, such as your CRM, email, analytics or ad accounts, as long as they have an API. The choice of AI model and software depends on your data requirements; we prefer processing in the EU. Fees for AI models and third-party software are not part of our price, and Before It Was Cool tells you what to expect before you commit.

How do we choose an AI supplier for our business?

When choosing a supplier for AI agents, ask whether you get a written brief for the agent, how the limits on what it may do alone are enforced, who approves what reaches your customers, how its value is measured and how to stop it. At Before It Was Cool every agent has a written five-point brief, limits are enforced through access settings, nothing goes out without a person's approval, metrics are agreed before the pilot and the documentation includes how to switch the agent off.
